WoW! Truly nice. They are named (for Canon) ie. canon1.icm, canon2.icm, ... and there are also canona.icm, canonb.icm...
Question: does anybody know how these profiles (if they are) relate to original canon picture style profiles (Standard, Landscape, Portrait, Neutral...)?
Thx
Offtopic: tried bibble5pro yesterday, and albeit they claim that IQ is much better than B4, I'm very dissapointed again, so for me, there is still no real alternative to RT on linux. _________________ http://www.meteoadriatic.net |

| You can get it here http://ssl.bibblelabs.com/beta. Just provide your email, where they send you trial license code. |

Please explain why someone would want to use the Bibble 5 camera profiles you mention and how one would do this in Raw Therapee.
Thanks! |

Yes, it is good, indeed, very nice work from Bibble stuff. But, lot of pink artefacts in highlights, that can not be ruled out with any setting change, strange noise in blue sky when boosting saturation, overall strange colors (RT give much nicer colors IMHO), I don't know, not looking good to me at this point. Maybe would be better with time, I will upload them few problematic images, they might look at them... _________________ http://www.meteoadriatic.net |

| Please can somebody with Bibble 5 share ICM profile for Sony DSLRs with me? Maybe send it to me by mail or put somewhere for download. Thank you in advance for sharing. |

If you want, I can send you all of these, so you can try and see if any of these profiles will make your images better. I also think that no one profile named "canon" does relate to any Canon picture style, they are very different. I found few of them usable for some images, but for big number of images no profile from Bibble does give better colors (i.e. RT default is better). _________________ http://www.meteoadriatic.net |

there are 2 directories (on Windows at least) - one w/ the legacy profiles and one w/ the new profiles (C:\Program Files\Bibble Labs\Bibble 5\supportfiles\NewProfiles)
there are 3 profiles for Sony :
sonya100.icm
sonya350.icm
sonya700.icm _________________

Didn't catched that 40D profile for my canon looks promising and from first look it seems it gives better colors than default RT. It also significantly brighten the scene, so one might not need to boost exposure too much.

Thanks, deejjjaaaa!
Edit: but, after playing with few other photos I'm not so excited anymore. It is too bright sometimes, AND, highlight recovery does not work correctly if I use this profile. _________________ http://www.meteoadriatic.net |
