There is only one serious change:
The bug related to the empty/overlapping tool panel is (should be!) fixed.

Please, who had this issue, confirm it.

Mr Gabor may I suggest that you create a new forum thread that is always locked and only you can post there, and all future updates that do not appear on the RT website will be posted in that locked forum? I ask this of you because the way it is now, with you creating a thread called eg. "rawtherapee.com Forum Index -> General Discussion > V2.3 release candidate available", is not good since you can post several updates in one thread and the users have to go through several pages of posts to find the link. For example there are 5 pages in "V2.3 and apology", and so far 2 pages already in "V2.3 RC", and every time a user comes here to check for a new version instead of just looking at one list that he saved in bookmarks he has to open the topic with the latest version and go through each post on each page to find the latest update.

You think this is a good idea?

A can confirm the post from Kris, I get also a console window with the following output while opening RawTherapee (not doing anything more)... deleting the options file does not change the behaviour:

I can also confirm the behaviour rudy is describing.... I would guess the choosen crop area should stay the the same....

I would also support DrSlony's Motion: it makes sense to make the new releases all available from a location that stays the same.... can be a locked post or/and somewhere on the webpage...

I'll definitely do some further testing to see if I find something more...

But this 'search' is only for making a good applikation even better.... thanks Gabor.

kris & keenonkites: "gtkrc:50: Clearlooks configuration option "blabla" is not supported and will be ignored." is just a message from gtk that the theme (Clearlooks is a theme) describes some elements that do not exist, for example a line in the theme file could read "GtkScrollbar ::min_slider_length = 30" and the error message says that there is no GtkScrollbar in gtk. Nothing serious.

gabor, pressing minimize button at window top bar and then pressing "Raw Therapee" button at MS windows toolbar gives very strange results. All windows, which were shown before becomes visible.

Like Kris above, I wonder why this new version of RT also opens a DOS window showing the "behind the scenes" executions. Do we need to see this? The previous versions never displayed it nor did we miss it.
