A quick note on the word "raw" and LittleCMS version 2
I would like to point two unrelated things out:- The word "raw" is a plain word. It is not an acronym or an initialism. As such, the usual noun capitalization rules apply. Writing RAW is incorrect. If starting a sentence, capitalize the first letter, leave the other two in lowercase. If in the middle of a sentence, all letters should be lowercase.
- The unstable RawTherapee-3.1 builds require LittleCMS version 2. Ubuntu users should see the guide in the forum on how to install LCMS2 in Ubuntu. RawTherapee-3.0 builds require LittleCMS version 1.

RawTherapee 2.4.1 (OLD!) builds are downloadable again
Many requests have arrived for the old stable builds of RawTherapee, therefore RT 2.4.1 for Windows (only 32-bit) and for Linux (32-bit and 64-bit) are available again.
Important notes:- 2.4.1 is a deprecated version, it is not supported anymore.
- It was the last stable release before the opening of the source code. If you want to download a newer version, take a look at the download center. The nightly builds are usually stable enough to be used, but not considered as final releases yet.
- There was no Macintosh version of the 2.4 branch. If you use mac, try a nightly build from the download center.

Download page revised
The Download section has been revised. It should now fully and comprehendibly explain to a new user where RawTherapee stands, and make clear what the advantages and disadvantages of using the latest stable but outdated version (2.4.1) or the latest bleeding edge builds are. If you feel that something is missing, worded in an unclear way, or you have a suggestion, please tell us about it in the General Discussion forum.

Get The Latest Releases
The latest official release is alpha1 from January. A lot has changed since then. The "release early, release often" model is planned to be followed to satisfy you with new builds and to appreciate and show the efforts of the developers. Therefore some new builds are provided to play with until the bugs (program errors) are ironed out and the next "official" release can be published.
The latest releases are available in this directory and are updated regularly:
